Literature Text

And so the lion fell in love with the lamb, under TWILIGHT of a setting sun. Then time passes. Even when it seems impossible. Even when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does. Even for me, it passes into a NEW MOON where love that was once shattered becomes so much more.

Know that, the clouds I can handle, but I can't fight an ECLIPSE; so look after my heart—I've left it with you. And under the BREAKING DAWN, today is the first and last day of forever. Now when the MIDNIGHT SUN is the only light to blanket us, we are forever in love.
The Twilight Saga, or these quotes, do not belong to me in any way. The copyright and ownership belongs to the talented, Stephenie Meyer.

I was bored one morning, so I decided to take some of my favorite quotes from the books, and make a poem involving nothing but the quotes while adding in each title to the book it came from. Cleaver right?

Well, here are the references to which book and page each quote came from.

---

Lion and Lamb quote: Edward chapter 13. Page 274 of Twilight...

Time passes quote: Bella chapter 4. Page 93 of New Moon...

The clouds and eclipse quote: Jacob chapter 26. Page 600, along with, look after my heart quote: Edward chapter 4. Page 95 of Eclipse...

First and last day of forever quote: Bella chapter 24. Page 478 of Breaking Dawn...

And, of course, Midnight Sun hasn't even been published yet, so I haven't read any of it to pick out a quote for that one, I just made up one of my own to finish the poem in a high note. I refuse to read it until it's published since I don't want to ruin the experience for myself by reading the leaks.

Now I know there has been a lot of talk about saying that it won't be finished due to the leak on the Internet, but if you'll go to Stephenie Meyer's website, you'll see that it -IS- stated, that she is, indeed, going to finish the book.

It just doesn't have a definite finish date set since she's only writing it again during her free time.
